About Eve Zhao

Eve Zhao is a producer and director based in Los Angeles. She holds a BA in International Communications from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China and an MA in Cinema and Media Studies from USC.

She previously worked in broadcasting and television development in China. Growing up in Jiyang, a suburban district in Shandong Province, she learned to navigate the tension between individual agency and conformist cultural values, a theme her early short films explore through unsettling or absurd encounters with authority.

Her experience across crew roles led her into producing, where she finds both creative and intellectual satisfaction. Most recently, she produced live-action and AI series at DramaBox, with an estimated 300 million cumulative views across her productions.
